99 Percent of Thousand Islands Citizens Already Have Complete Civil Documents

We will finish the rest by the end of this month

The Thousand Islands Population and Civil Population Sub-agency Acting Head Satpo Wibowo has noted that 8,395 or 99 percent of citizens already have complete civil documents.

"Those civil documents in question are e-ID cards, birth certificates and child ID cards (KIA). They must be owned for the protection of the civil rights status, providing validity of identity and legal certainty," he expressed, Tuesday (3/10).

Of 8,395 citizens, 8,322 of them have processed family cards. As for the 19,981 or 98.33 percent out of 20,320 citizens already have e-ID card,

While the birth certificate aged 0-18 years, the sub-agency has printed out 10,096 sheets or 99.37 percent and as many as 8,950 ID cards or 98.01 percent have been printed.

"We will finish the rest by the end of this month," he told.

To meet the target, his side has coordinated with urban village through RT/RW caretakers to urge citizens to soon process civil documents.

His side also plans to hold jemput bola services for those cannot process it due to illness.

"To speed up e-ID card for children, there will be services at schools," he closed.
