Bapenda-Dukcapil Cooperates to Optimize Local Revenue

Jakarta Local Revenue Agency (Bapenda) cooperated with Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil) to optimize Local revenue.

Jakarta Bapenda Secretary, Pilar Hendrani stated, revenue optimization should be intensified among all stakeholders.

"For example, our cooperation in integrating taxpayer data with ID Number (NIK KTP) and family card (KK)," he said after visiting Jakarta Dukcapil Department Office, Jalan S. Parman, West Jakarta, Thursday (3/12).

Collaborating with Three Government-Owned Banks, Bapenda Applies Online Tax Reporting

According to him, integrated system that uses population administration data will be improved to optimize several taxes.

"Based on ID numbers and KK, we can trace people who have responsibilities in paying motor vehicle tax (PKB), Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2), and others," he explained.

He stated, total income from 13 local taxes is targeted to reach Rp 50.17 trillion in Jakarta City Budget (APBD) 2020.

"Until March 12, 2020, we have collected Rp 5.158 trillion," he added.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Dukcapil Department Head, Dhany Sukma conveyed, currently his side has integrated the system with Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Department. Thus his side can trace residents who submit various permits through JakEvo application based on population administration data.

"Through system integration, we could know what kind of permits taxpayers have proposed and their local tax obligations," he asserted.
