Always wear a mask, routinely wash your hands and avoid direct contact in a crowd

Central Jakarta Satpol PP personnel were urged to remain vigilant amid coronavirus outbreak while on duty in the field.

"Always wear a mask, routinely wash your hands and avoid direct contact in a crowd. Monitor the area with a patrol car," expressed Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Bernard Tambunan, Tuesday (3/17).

They should protect themselves from the virus, especially in areas that are prone to street vendors (PKL).

"Keep the spirit of sweeping and blocking. But the portion is reduced," he told.

Besides PKL, they would also be deployed to monitor other crowd areas such as internet cafes and playstation rentals which are often a gathering place for students.

"This is in accordance with the Governor's instruction in which the students are now temporarily free to study at home," he closed.
