Kebon Melati Urban Village Promotes Sergub Number 7/2020

The Kebon Melati Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta socializes the Governor's Call (Sergub) number 7/2020 on Protection and Prevention of Transmission to Communities at High Risk of COVID-19).

According to Winetrin, Head of Kebon Melati Urban Village, socialization is conducted door-to-door by involving army and police. This Sergub states that regional stakeholders are required to visit and explain information about COVID-19 symptoms.

"We hope that citizens can follow our direction," he expressed, Tuesday (3/31).

He explained, currently some citizens in his region, especially in RW 17 have taken the initiative to limit gathering activities and access in and out of settlements.

"Each gate will be guarded and is continued with socialization to prevent the spread of the COVID-19," he told.

The access roads that are open and closed include Jalan Awaludin I, II, IV, Jalan BTN Mess, Jalan Mess Dalam in RT 13 and all MHT roads in RW 17.

"Street vendors (PKL) who sell at MHT roads are urged to trade in front of their homes and implement physical distancing," he stated.
