Online Population Census 2020 period in Thousand Islands which should end in March, is extended until May 29 due to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.

But, because of the coronavirus outbreak, we extend it until May 29

"Online data collection system was targeted to finish on March 31. But, because of the coronavirus outbreak, we extend it until May 29," said Pudji Pangastuti, Head of Thousand Islands Central Bureau of Statistic (BPS), Wednesday (3/1).

Regarding of this policy, her side requested all urban villages and sub-districts through the regional management to spread the information to the residents.

"We also optimize our socialization through social media and online media thus Thousand Islands residents can use this chance well to fill their data for population census during this extension period, " she asserted.
