City Extends Work From Home Policy to April 19

Through Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency, the Jakarta Provincial Government has extended the work-from-home policy for employees in the capital city to April 19 in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

They are health, food/basic needs, energy, financial services and payment systems, transportation, telecommunications, as well as other fields concerning basic human and community needs

The decision was made through a circular letter number 20/SE/2020 on the extension of the call to work from home work from home and Gubernatorial Decree number 361/2020 on state of emergency in the capital dated on April 3 to 19.

Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency Head Andri Yansyah stated that it was not included for the seven areas of the company.

"They are health, food/basic needs, energy, financial services and payment systems, transportation, telecommunications, as well as other fields concerning basic human and community needs," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Monday (4/6).
