PSBB, Forkopimda Conducts Monitoring on Kalimalang Inspection Roads

To smoothen the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in Jakarta, the Jakarta Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) conducts monitoring in the border area of Kalimalang inspection roads, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta Monday (4/13).

It will be an evaluation material and will be discussed at the executive meeting

This action involves the Polda Metro Jaya Chief Insp. Gen. Nana Sudjana, Pangdam Jaya Maj. Gen. Eko Margoyono and East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar. They directly monitor the inspection of vehicles passing from Bekasi to Jakarta.

"It will be our evaluation material to be discussed at the executive meeting, as there are still many people who work to Jakarta, especially in private companies. Moreover the volume of vehicles in the capital is quite a lot," expressed Polda Metro Jaya Chief, Insp. Gen. Nana Sudjana, at the location.

Large Scale Social Restrictions to Affect Mobility Public Transportation in Jakarta

According to the results of the fourth day's PSBB evaluation, citizens began to comply with health protocols such as wearing masks and maintaining physical distance in public.

At the same place, Pangdam Jaya Maj. Gem. Eko Margiyono added the increase in vehicle volume is very rampant in border areas such as, Bekasi, Tangerang, Bogor and Depok. It is because the PSBB will be implemented on Wednesday (4/15).

"Indeed they have to implement it to suppress community activities," he said.

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head Benhard Hutajulu added, from the monitoring results, the riders look more obedient. They already want to wear masks in public. Aside that the number of public transport passengers is also in accordance with the recommended provisions of no more than 50 percent.

"Every day we send 15 personnel who are divided into three shifts. Together with army/police and Satpol PP, they are seen on guard at inspection points in Kalimalang to inspect passing vehicles," he stated.
