296 Funeral Workers in Central Jakarta Required to Wear APD

As many as 296 funeral workers who work at public cemetery (TPU) in Central Jakarta are required to wear personal protective equipment (APD) while working during COVID-19 pandemic in Jakarta.
They are required to use work uniforms according to the standard procedures
Central Jakarta Park and Urban Forest Sub-agency Head, Mila Ananda stated, her side instructed funeral workers to wear APD consisting face mask, gloves, long-sleeved clothes, trousers, hat, and boots.
"They are required to use work uniforms according to the standard procedures," she asserted, Thursday (4/16).
Eight Garbage Bins Provided in Central Jakarta to Collect Medical WasteAccording to her, total 296 funeral workers who will be equipped with APD are working at TPU Karet Bivak, TPU PSPB, TPU Kawi-Kawi, and TPU Petamburan. Each public cemetery has around 74 workers who work as grave diggers, ambulance drivers, cleaning service (janitors), administration, maintenance, and security.
"They also work in shift during Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period. Those who are working should maintain physical distance and wear APD," she said.
