Five Urban Villages in Makasar Receive Social Aid

Five urban villages in Makasar Sub-district, East Jakarta have received social aid from corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, on Wednesday (4/22). The aid is scheduled to be given to people affected by COVID-19 outbreaks.

Those five urban villages are Cipinang Melayu, Makasar, Kebon Pala, Halim Perdanakusuma and Pinang Ranti. The aid provided is in the form of rice and other basic needs, personal protective equipment such as masks and hand sanitizers.
To be on target and equitable, Kebon Pala Urban Village Head Faizal Rizal admitted data collection will be done first.

In the meantime, PT Angkasa Pura II Halim Perdana Kusuma Community Development Assistant Agus Santoso explained the aid provided is comprising 500 pieces of cloth masks, 200 pieces of hand sanitizers, 25 boxes of instant noodles, 75 cans of biscuits and 115 bags of 5-kg rice.
Similar aid is also sent to Darul Quran Boarding School in the form of 25 sacks of 5-kg rice, 21 cans of biscuits and 25 boxes of instant noodles.
"It aims to lighten residents' burden in five urban villages around Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. Hopefully it can be helpful for them," he closed.
