East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) noted 6,944 violations in 4 checkpoints in East Jakarta during Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB).
From April 10-21, we have noted 6,944 violations in 4 checkpoints
East Jakarta Sudinhub Head, Benhard Hutajulu stated, those 4 checkpoints are located on Jl. Raya Bekasi or under Cakung Flyover, Jl. Raya Bogor in front of SPBU Cibubur, Jl. Raya Kalimalang or at the U-turn of Jalan Lampiri and exit way of Jagorawi Cililitan Toll.
More Road Users Comply with PSBB Regulations
"From April 10-21, we have noted 6,944 violations in 4 checkpoints. We only warn the road users because through persuasive approach we want residents to comply with health protocols amid of COVID-19 pandemic," he explained, Wednesday (4/22).
Violation was mostly committed by motorcyclists who didn't wear mask with total 1,838 violations. While there are 308 motorcyclists who didn't wear gloves and 246 motorcyclists who rode passengers with different addresses on ID card (KTP).
Then, as many as 1,442 violations committed by car owners due to over capacity. There were 862 violations with capacity above 50 percent. While for public transport fleet, his side found out 746 passengers didn't wear face mask and 685 violations were due to overcapacity.
Meanwhile for freight cars, his side noted 635 people didn't wear face mask and 182 vehicles exceeded its capacity.
"With this condition, we keep reminding people to comply with health protocols set by government in order to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission, as well as for the safety of all people," he asserted.
