Rp 1.3 B Allocated for DPRD Uniforms

As many as 106 members of Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) period 2014-2019 who was inducted last August are obligated to work hard to fight for the Jakarta residents' aspirations. Besides getting high salary and allowances, they also receive luxury cars to support their activity. Even, Rp 1.3 billion taken from City Budget (APBD) has been allocated for the procurement of uniforms and attributes this year.

City Secretary, Mangara Pardede disclosed the procurement of DPRD members' uniform and attribute is indeed imposed each year. This year, every member will get one complete civil uniform (PSL). It comprising jacket, shirt, trousers, tie, shoes, and other attributes. "This year, DPRD members only get PSL and attribute in form of a pin," said Mangara, Thursday (10/2).

Next year, there will also be procurement for daily uniform (PDH). It comprising a short-sleeved shirt, trousers, skirts for women, black shoes, belts, etc. The fund details can be checked on https//www.jakarta.go.id.

As known, as many as 106 new DPRD members were inducted on August 25. From that number, 50 out of them are incumbent and 56 others are new. They will receive tens of million rupiah per month as salary. In details, DPRD Head's salary is Rp 35.16 million, DPRD Deputy Head Rp 45.16 million, and DPRD members Rp 30.29 million.

Such financial rights consist of basic salary, position allowance, intensive communication allowance, operational money, and housing. For official house, it is only dedicated to DPRD Head.
