Mass Disbanded, City Council and City Hall Conducive

The action of hundreds of mass in front of City Council building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Friday (10/3) afternoon ended in chaos. The chaos started when the protesters forced their way to get into the building which already guarded by police and Satpol PP personnel.

Hundreds of mass from different group came to location at around 1.30 PM by using motorcycle and open cabin car.

At the beginning, the demonstration run orderly. The mass voiced their aspiration in front of City Council entrance. Suddenly, after half an hour, the demonstration began to heat.

Some of them have prepared fireworks and stone to fight against personnel. Seeing this condition, the personnel who already formed barricade in front of the entrance reacted to drove out the mass.

As much as 11 police officers and civilians were wounded because of stone thrown by the mass. Some cars parked inside the building were also damaged.

Ten minutes later, City Council Head Prasetio Edi Marsudi accompanied by Council Secretary, Manggara Pardede visited city hall emergency room to see the victims.

Finally, the situation around city council and city hall are safe. The police personnel successfully disbanded the mass.
