West Jakarta PMI Collects 581 Blood Bags

West Jakarta Indonesia Red Cross (PMI) collected 581 blood bags in a blood donor activity held at Early Childhood Education Training and Development Center Building, Kebon Jeruk, on May 1-5, 2020.

So far, we have collected 581 blood bags

West Jakarta PMI Chairperson, Baharuddin mentioned, blood donation is needed to fulfill the needs of hospitals in Jakarta. In this activity, his side cooperated with several communities, West Jakarta Government, TNI and Police.

"So far, we have collected 581 blood bags. Until today, we estimate to reach 700 blood bags," he said, Tuesday (5/5).

Jakarta Government Holds Blood Donation Activity

In the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, his side ensured to carry out blood donation according to health protocols by wearing mask, maintaining physical distance and checking the body temperature.

"There are employees as well as Gulkarmat and Satpol PP personnel who donate their blood," he conveyed.
