KSBB Program, 1,032 Packages Distributed to Jatinegara Urban Village

As many as 1,032 staple food packages from East Jakarta Baznas Bazis through Large-scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) program have been distributed to residents affected by COVID-19 at RW 05 Jatinegara Urban Village, Cakung, East Jakarta.

We are targeting urban villages that have proposed for assistance but haven't received it yet

East Jakarta Baznas Bazis first sent the assistance to RW 05 Secretariat Office of Jatinegara Urban Village then it distributed door-to-door to the residents by RT/RW administrators.

East Jakarta Baznas Bazis Coordinator, Aminuddin stated, his side targeted to give this assistance to the poor residents who haven't received assistance from central government and Jakarta Government.

"We are targeting urban villages that have proposed for assistance but haven't received it yet. Especially for poor people in densely populated settlements," he mentioned, Wednesday (5/6).

According to him, Jatinegara Urban Village was chosen because this urban village is one of the urban villages in East Jakarta with the highest ZIS fundraising.

He informed, his side is currently processing assistance that will be distributed to the other urban villages with highest ZIS fundraising. Moreover, East Jakarta Baznas Bazis also collects and re-proposes assistance from CSR program to be distributed for those in needs.
