"1,400 boxes of cleaning packages are distributed to all mosques in five administrative cities," expressed Jakarta DMI Chairman, Ma'un Al-Ayyubi, Tuesday (5/14).

He explained each package contained one bucket each, floor brushes, washcloths, floor deodorizers, prayer rugs, detergent soap, disinfectants and toilet cleaners.

"Hopefully it can be helpful to maintain the mosque cleanliness amid COVID-19 pandemic and PSBB status," he hoped.

Jakarta Mental Education Bureau Head Hendra Hidayat expressed his grateful and appreciation over the aid.

"Jakarta Provincial Government also has distributed social aid for our mosque caretakers. Together with DMI and MUI, we also have a Ramadan lecture program to fulfill the spiritual needs of the citizens who temporarily cannot worship at the mosque," he told.
