1,400 boxes of cleaning packages are distributed to all mosques in five administrative cities
The Jakarta Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) has distributed 1,400 aid packages to support mosque cleanliness.
It is the latest distribution from the Clean Mosque Movement program for 100,000 mosques throughout Indonesia initiated by the Central DMI in cooperation with PT Unilever Indonesia.

He explained each package contained one bucket each, floor brushes, washcloths, floor deodorizers, prayer rugs, detergent soap, disinfectants and toilet cleaners.
"Hopefully it can be helpful to maintain the mosque cleanliness amid COVID-19 pandemic and PSBB status," he hoped.
Jakarta Mental Education Bureau Head Hendra Hidayat expressed his grateful and appreciation over the aid.
"Jakarta Provincial Government also has distributed social aid for our mosque caretakers. Together with DMI and MUI, we also have a Ramadan lecture program to fulfill the spiritual needs of the citizens who temporarily cannot worship at the mosque," he told.
