Five Rebuked for Violating PSBB in Taman Sari

At least five people have been reprimanded with written warning and social work sanctions for not wearing a mask during PSBB that aims to cut the transmission chain of COVID-19.

Social sanction given is sweeping the street

Taman Sari Sub-district Head Risan H Mustar expressed they were charged under social sanctions according to Gubernatorial Regulation number 41/2020 on Imposition of Sanctions Against PSBB Violations in Handling COVID-19 in the capital.

He stated sweeping was done in several locations starting from Jalan Lada, Jalan Mangga Dua, Jalan Pinangsia, Jalan Mangga Besar 1, Jalan Blustru, Jalan Hayam Wuruk, Jalan Mangga Besar, Jalan Sukarjo Wiryopranoto, Jalan Taman Sari Raya, Jalan Gajah Mada, Jalan Pancoran, Jalan Asemka, Jalan Kunir and Jalan Cengkeh.

Social Sanction Imposed on 35 PSBB Violators

"Social sanction given is sweeping the street. We also give written warning to eight business places," he expressed, Friday (5/15).

He added this activity was routinely carried out until the PSBB ended. Besides business places, officers also targeted residents who do not comply with the PSBB rules.

"Please obey the rules set by the government in the effort to handle COVID-19," he stated.
