As many as 6,134 packages of social aid are distributed to those in need in Pinang Ranti Urban Village, Makasar, East Jakarta, Tuesday (5/19). Its distribution involves local RT/RW to distribute the aid door to door to comply with physical distancing rules.

Pinang Ranti Urban Village Head Abdul Haris expressed there is an increase in the number of packages received compared to before, which was only to 3,580 packages.

"Right now we have 6,134 packages that are ready to be distributed to citizens spread over five RWs," he expressed, Tuesday (5/19).

Hopefully, it would increase the food security of citizens during COVID-19 pandemic. His side also urges locals to comply with PSBB rules to prevent the coronavirus spread.

"We hope this pandemic pass soon," he hoped.
