Distribution of Social Aid Phase II Falls on May 22

The city administration begins distributing the second stage of social aid to citizens who have been registered and verified. Distribution is scheduled for completion on May 22 or before Eid al-Fitr.

The target of social aid recipients reached 1.1 million low-income families affected by COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Irmansyah, Head of Jakarta Social Agency, its distribution has been started since May 14. Based on data gathered, it is currently taking place in East Jakarta.

"Especially for Thousand Islands and North Jakarta, we will do it today, followed by West Jakarta on May 21, as well as South and Central Jakarta on May 22," he expressed, Wednesday (5/20).

He explained the list of social aid recipients could be accessed through the corona.jakarta.go.id/id/informasi-bantuan-sosial.

"Each aid package is valued at Rp 275,000 per package containing rice, sardines, biscuits, cooking oil, soy sauce, flour, vermicelli plus soap," he stated.
