Jakarta's Updated COVID-19 Information on May 27, 2020

Jakarta Provincial Government through Jakarta Task Force for Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling announced the latest information related to COVID-19 cases in Jakarta as of May 27, 2020.

Until today, as many as 2,043 patients are still being treated in hospitals and 2,584 carried out self-isolation in their houses

Jakarta Health Agency's Health Resources Division Head, Ani Ruspitawati stated, there are 6,826 positive cases in Jakarta. As many as 1,689 people recovered and 510 people died.

Jakarta Care Line Distributes 86,215 Staple Food Packages

Number of positive people without symptoms (OTG) reaches 16,138 people with total 13,451 people under surveillance (ODP) and 9,421 people under observations (PDP).

Jakarta Government has improved capacity for testing people through RT-PCR method by building COVID-19 Satellite Laboratory since April 9, 2020, which located in RSUD Pasar Minggu's area and building network with 36 COVID-19 test laboratories.

Cumulatively, PCR examination has been carried out in Jakarta with total 135,286 samples until May 26, 2020. On May 26, it has been carried out to 1,036 people. 882 of them were carried out to establish the diagnosis in new cases, with total 105 positive and 777 negative results.

Rapid tests are also conducted in six municipalities and regency of Jakarta Administration and Employee Health Service Center (PPKP). Total 133,854 people have undergone the rapid test with positive percentage of COVID-19 reaches four percent. In detail, 5,627 people are confirmed reactive of COVID-19 and 128,227 people are non-reactive.

In handling COVID-19, Jakarta Provincial Government issued Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 47/2020 that applies permit mechanism for residents who want to leave or enter Jabodetabek areas through Exit and Entry Permit (SIKM) of DKI Jakarta Province which carried out systematically and practically.

Since opening the service on May 15, 2020 until May 27, 2020, total 259,813 users have accessed SIKM service from website corona.jakarta.go.id and 6,622 SIKM proposals have been received.

From total proposals received, 64 proposals are still in process. In detail, administrative research and technical research for verification have been carried out on 682 proposals which are still waiting for validation of the guarantor/person in charge; 4,544 proposals were rejected; and 1,322 proposals have fulfilled the requirements thus SIKM could be issued electronically.

For information, there was a surge in number of SIKM applicants on the last day of Ramadan up to 1 Shawwal 1441 Hijri, with total 1,772 SIKM proposals that received by Jakarta PMPTSP Office within 24 hours.

Until today, PMPTSP is still improving system used for SIKM service at corona.jakarta.go.id/id/izin-keluar-masuk-jakarta page due to the additional moduels in the system to adjust to the latest developments related to the applicable laws and regulations and additional features to provide convenience to the applicants. Due to this case, it would be difficult to access SIKM service in the next few days.

During the site optimization, public can ask questions and further information through live chat and video calls on the website. However, other features on corona.jakarta.go.id site can still be accessed by the public for updated information related to the COVID-19 in Jakarta.

Jakarta Provincial Government also opens up opportunities for people who want to provide assistance for people affected by COVID-19 pandemic through the Large-scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) program. Assistance can be provided in form of staple foods, ready meals, or cash.

From April 24 until May 26, Pokja KSBB has collected commitments for 372,608 staple food packages; 154,411 meals packages; 28,628 Lebaran packages; and 2,344 THR packages for economically vulnerable citizens at RW level.

Per today, Pokja KSBB has received commitments from 98 companies/groups and 12 individual donators. Detailed information about KSBB can be accessed at corona.jakarta.go.id/ksbb.
