Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) officers stopped 7,025 vehicle drivers trying to enter Jakarta at 11 checkpoints during period of returning flow.

According to Syafrin Liputo, Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency, the operation was also carried out at several Jakarta entrances via public transportation modes, like airplane, train, or bus.

He explained people wishing to enter Jakarta were required to obtain an Exit and Entry Permit (SIKM) from the city administration and the police. If not, they would be ordered to return to their point of departure.
"To have it, we can access the site at corona.jakarta.go.id. Together with army/police, we continue to stand by to enforce the rules," he explained.
He went on to say that the pandemic could already be controlled in the two periods since PSBB status was imposed in the capital according to data transmission rates that are continually collected and updated by the Health Agency.
"The case tends to weaken. This is what we want to protect in two weeks after the PSBB extension has been completed in three stages. Hopefully all will be fine," he stated.
Therefore he urged the people who were already in their hometown not to go to Greater Jakarta for a while.
