Legislator Ingin Peran RT/RW Ditingatkan Dalam Pengawasan Mobilitas Penduduk

Anticipating People's Mobility, Legislators Wants RT/RW Roles to Be Improved

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Legislators from Commission A, August Hamonongan and Dwi Rio Sambodo suggested city to improve the roles of RT and RW administrators in monitoring people's mobility, especially those who are entering and leaving Jakarta.

Besides, it can prevent the issuance of fake SIKM

August assessed, RT and RW could monitor people's mobility from guest report system for 1x24 hours and when residents want to travel leaving Jakarta.

"When some of the residents want to leave Jakarta for homecoming, RT can coordinate it with urban village administrators thus residents can obtain SIKM," he stated, Wednesday (5/26).

His side hopes Exit and Entry Permit (SIKM) policy can be more effective through collaboration with Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Agency.

"Besides, it can prevent the issuance of fake SIKM," he added.

Meanwhile, Dwi Rio Sambodo concerned about the need of massive socialization to the residents thus SIKM policy can run effectively. Moreover, he assessed, PTSP service for SIKM needs improvement thus it can process more proposals and become more transparent.

"PTSP internal should be monitored to ensure its service is facilitating the residents," he conveyed.
