BOS and BOP Fund Cover School Book Purchase

Jakarta Education Department (Disdik) forbid the selling activity of 2013 Curriculum book in the school. Besides incriminating the student parent , the book procurement has been bought through School Operational Aid (BOS) and Education Operational Aid (BOP) budget. Head Section of Senior High School for South Jakarta Secondary Education Sub-department, Wanter, said so on Tuesday (10/7).

Previously, Head Section of Curriculum for Jakarta Disdik, Budianto, also stated that 2013 curriculum training is directly supported by central government. However, SMA and SMK can do it independently by using BOS/BOP fund.
According to him, the book to be bought is appropriate with the need and included in unit object. There is also electronic school book (BSE) which tightly monitored by Education Ministry on its making process.

French teacher, Gadis Nurlaili, French study book is not included in the curriculum book distributed by Disdik.
"The department did not provide foreign language book just like other subjects," she explained.
Some of the foreign language book are French for class X student, Mandarin for class XI, and Japanese for class XII student. The foreign language book price is Rp 75,000 and LKS Rp 15,000.
Related to a copy of French book, Gadis continued that it is her and student initiative since the book stock is empty. "The study must go on, and the students need subject book," she continued.
