Joint Personnel Clean Up Mud Due to Tidal Flood in Pluit

North Jakarta's joint personnel with assistance from TNI and Police officers clean up the remaining mud due to tidal flood which occurred since Saturday (6/6) at Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan Sub-district. This cleaning is targeted to finish tomorrow, on Wednesday, June 10.

Pluit Urban Village Head, Rosiwan conveyed, tidal flood which inundated the settlements at RW 01, 11, and 16 have receded. Now, residents try to clean their houses from mud with help from 2 firetrucks owned by North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency.

"It has receded. Now, we clean up the remaining mud due to flooding," he said, Tuesday (6/9).

SDA Handles Tidal Flood at Pantai Mutiara

Currently, personnel clean up mud at Block J and W of Pantai Mutiara Housing. Yesterday, his side has cleaned area of Jalan Pluit Utara Raya.

"We also need to clean other areas affected by flood. This cleaning is targeted to finish tomorrow," he asserted.

According to him, North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has repaired the leaking embankment at RW 16. His side also ensured water channel on the location to run optimally into Pluit Reservoir.

"50 residents of RW 01 who evacuated have returned to their houses," he conveyed.
