The Central Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency is set to reopen 65 temporary shelters (loksem) and 4 coached locations (lokbin) in the transitional large-scale social restriction (PSBB), which falls on June 13 - July 2.

"We also have odd-even system rules to regulate the loksem and lokbin's operational schedule, surely it will also be followed with health protocols," expressed Central Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head, Bangun Richard, Thursday (6/11).

Transition Period, Officers Alerted to Monitor Readiness of Jatinegara Market

Those four lokbin that will be opened are Cempaka Sari Lokbin in Harapan Mulya, Abdul Gani Lokbin in Galur, Pulo Gundul Lokbin in Tanah Tinggi and Palmerah Lokbin in Gelora. As for 65 loksem are located in eight sub-districts in Central Jakarta.

Besides odd-even system, traders are also required to comply with health protocols. That is by limiting the number of visitors to 50 percent of normal capacity, requiring visitors to wear masks, provide hand washing facilities, maintain cleanliness and maintain physical distancing up to one meter

"If they break it, we will give them written sanction and administrative fine of Rp 10 million," he stressed.
