Regency Distributes 2,000 Packages of Food Staple to the Needy

The Thousand Islands Technical Working Unit (UKT) I has distributed 2,000 packages of staple food for elderly people, disabled people and orphans.

Thousand Islands UKT I Head Ade Slamet said staple food consisted of rice, sardines, soy sauce and fruit juice were distributed to six urban areas in North and South Thousand Islands sub-districts.

Elderly People and Orphans in Thousand Islands to Receive 2,000 Packages of Staple Food

Of 2,000 packages, 1,700 were distributed to elderly people, disabled people and orphans and the rest 300 were distributed to halfway houses on land and for volunteers.

"Hopefully it can lighten their burden in fulfilling daily needs amid COVID-19," he hoped.
