Starting Today, Transjakarta Gradually Opens Additional Routes

Starting today, PT. Transjakarta gradually opens 40 additional routes both for corridor and non-corridor services. Transjakarta will ensure to keep the fleets clean for the passengers' comfort.

In preparing the new round, Transjakarta has added new routines for health protocol

PT. Transjakarta Corporate Secretary and Public Relation Division Head, Nadia Diposanjoyo mentioned, Transjakarta also re-operates Mikrotrans, the integrated first mile-last mile service to the public.

Including Mikrotrans, there are 107 additional routes in total, besides corridor service (BRT), health service routes (TRS), Kota Tua Tour Bus, and Transcare service that have been operated before.

"When the Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) was implemented, we only operated 13 main corridors and 26 routes in the transition period. In preparing the new round, we have added new routines for health protocol," she mentioned in her written statement on Wednesday (7/1).

Its new routines are to disinfect the destination bus stops and monitor all operators in Transjakarta to comply with health protocols, such as sterilizing the fleets; checking the bus feasibility related to the technical aspects for passengers safety from condition of engine, tires, and brakes; installing safe-distance signs; and providing hand sanitizer.

Here are additional routes that will start to operate on July 1;
