East Jakarta PMI Socializes COVID-19 Response Strengthening Program

East Jakarta PMI socialized community level COVID-19 response strengthening program in the office, Wednesday (7/8).

It is a form of intense community participants in handling and preventing the spread of COVID-19

East Jakarta PMI Chairperson, H. R. Krisdianto mentioned, 71 participants consist of 10 PMI administrator at sub-district levels, 30 urban village heads, and 31 RW representatives attended this socialization. His side invited PMI Social and Health Service Division Head, Eka Wulan Cahya Sari and Jakarta PMI Service Division Head, Herman.

"It is a form of intense community participants in handling and preventing the spread of COVID-19," he stated.

According to him, community level COVID-19 response strengthening program is one of PMI's national programs. Not only in Jakarta, but this program has been also running in Banten, Central Java, D.I. Yogyakarta, East Java, and South Sulawesi.

According to him, this program could be implemented by visiting people door-to-door to socialize clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS).

As well as monitoring COVID-19 red zones, building and strengthening COVID-19 response network in the region and risk communication network.

People can use its benefits including hotline consultation, ambulance/disinfectant spraying service, community-based surveillance and community teletraining.
