DPRD Chairperson Asks Karang Taruna to Support City's Programs

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Chairperson, Prasetio Edi Marsudi expected Karang Taruna administrators to participate actively in supporting Jakarta Government's program in implementing health protocols in the community.

"We need you to encourage public to be disciplined in implementing COVID-19 preventive protocols," he conveyed while receiving audience from Jakarta Karang Taruna administrators at Jakarta DPRD Building, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/14).

In this chance, his side reminded Karang Taruna members about the importance of accountability report on the use of budget that was released from Regional Budget (APBD).

According to him, budget usage without accountability reports will be an obstacle when audited by Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

"They must be professional in arranging budget," he added.

Jakarta Karang Taruna Chairperson, Muhammad Mul asserted, his side from urban village level to provincial level are ready to participate for the succession of government programs, including to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

"Hopefully we can continue to collaborate with government, especially urban village and sub-district administrators, through our programs that have been prepared," he closed.
