Social Sanction Imposed on 14 PSBB Violators in Matraman

Joint personnel inspected Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) implementation in 8 different locations in Matraman Sub-district, East Jakarta, on Monday (7/20).

We net 14 violators who didn't wear mask

Matraman Sub-district Head, Andriansyah stated, this inspection involved 87 joint personnel which deployed to Jangkrik Market, Pal Meriam Market, Pramuka Medical Market, Pramuka Bird Market, Matraman Kebon Kosong Market, Gramedia, PKBL RT 21/03 Kebon Manggis Urban Village, and Jl. Wahab, Utan Kayu Utara.

"We net 14 violators who didn't wear mask. Immediately, we record their data and punish them with social sanctions to give them deterrent effect," he explained.

According to him, this inspection was carried out in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 51/2020 concerning Implementation of Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) During the Transitional Period towards Healthy, Safe and Productive Community.

He informed, joint personnel were from Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub), urban village, sub-district, market managements and assistance from TNI/Police.
