Sanctions Given to 12 Residents who Didn't Wear Mask in Pinang Ranti

Joint personnel held Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) monitoring at Pinang Ranti Terminal and Jl. Raya Pondok Gede, East Jakarta today. As the result, 12 residents who didn't wear mask were netted. Personnel recorded their data, as well as imposed social sanctions and administration fines.

We hope more people can comply with COVID-19 preventive protocols

On the location, joint personnel also requested road users who didn't wear mask to make statement for not repeating the same violation in the future.

Pinang Ranti Urban Village Satpol PP Head, Erwin stated, through this monitoring, his side wanted to make people more discipline in complying COVID-19 prevention protocols. Moreover, Jakarta Government also announced to extend transitional PSBB period until July 30.

"9 people were given sanction to sweep the road while the remaining 3 people were subject to administrative fines Rp 250,000 each person," he informed, Friday (7/17).

His side deployed 25 joint personnel from Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub), terminal management, and assistance from TNI/Police.

"We hope more people can comply with COVID-19 preventive protocols," he added.
