2015 APBD will Be Delayed Again, Ahok Says

Jakarta Vice Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama predicts the

"Council completeness is not ready yet. That's
why I predict the APDB ratification will delay one month," he explained,
at City Hall, Monday (10/13).
According to him, if council completeness is ready, the KUA
and PPAS will be discussed. Hopefully, its discussion does not take a long
time. "If council completeness is ready, we will discuss the KUA and PPAS
soon," he asserted.
In the proposed KUA and PPAS, total amount of 2015 APBD is
reaching Rp 76.98 trillion. Its amount increased to Rp 4 trillion than last
year, which was Rp 72 trillion. Budget items included in the 2015 APBD draft,
one of them is the purchase of Transjakarta bus worth Rp 2 trillion. Yet it
would be managed by PT Transjakarta, through government investment
participation (PMP).
Other programs that will be run in the 2015 APBD is to
continue the top program and Jakarta priority this year. They are constructing
of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), revitalizing reservoirs and absorption wells,
normalizing rivers, building flats, cleaning trashes in the rivers, adding
green open space (RTH), procuring information economic space, building
traditional market, developing Betawian culture, building community health
centers with inpatient, as well as for Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) and Jakarta
Health Card (KJS).
Meanwhile, Chairman of Jakarta Indonesian Democratic Party
of Struggle (PDIP). Jhonny Simanjuntak ensured council completeness will be
done in mid-October. Afterwards, it would be continued with discussion of
budget draft.
"Such discussion will be done in mid of this
month," he stated. Jakarta DPRD's rule was ratified on Friday (10/10) ago.
In addition, council must still appoint the commission chairman for other
completeness. Its candidate name is still re-discussed by council leaders.
