According to Herwansyah, Head of East Jakarta LH Sub-agency, they had done observation and had a plan related to waste reduction program. Moreover, currently, there had been land for the composting and processing of waste using the maggot system at the landfill.

"The potential of solid waste processing in this market is quite good as there are quite a lot of organic waste and it is supported by adequate waste processing facilities and natural resources. And then continued with guidance and training. If the program runs well, waste will reduce up to 10 tons," he said.
Kramat Jati Main Market Manager Agus Lamun added that his side appreciated the program in line with his plan in reducing waste from the bantargebang.
"Hopefully it becomes a common commitment in finding solutions to overcome waste thus we don't continue to rely on the bantargebang," he uttered.
His party would also file budget to the head office thus this program can be a priority scale. Thereby, the program can already run in mid-August or September.
