East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency examined sacrificial animals (qurban) health and meat in 102 locations on Eid al-Adha 1441 Hijri, Friday (7/31).

East Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Yuli Absari stated, her side deployed 200 joint personnel from KPKP Sub-agency, Agriculture Ministry, and Indonesian Veterinarian Association (PDHI) Jakarta to 102 slaughterhouses which located in 10 sub-districts.
"From 102 locations, we have examined 2,009 qurban animals consisting 627 cows, 4 buffaloes, 1,260 goats, and 118 sheep," she explained, Saturday (8/1).

From this examination, her side found parts from the animals as many as 151,350 grams that are not safe for consumption. All of them were immediately destroyed to anticipate people from consuming it.
"We are still checking animals health and the meat until Sunday (8/2)," she closed.
