As many as 10,057 civil servants under Jakarta Provincial Government already registered online to undergo a promotion test. They will participate in the assessment test tomorrow or Wednesday (10/15).

Head of Jakarta Regional Employment Agency (BKD), Ismer disclosed that registration was already closed on Monday (10/13) at 12 AM. "According to the latest data, as many as 10,057 have done registration. They are from echelon II, III, IV and staff," he told, Tuesday (10/14).

He revealed that the first assessment test was done towards 88 echelon-II officials on October 8-10. "And we will hold another test to echelon-III officials tomorrow," he stated.

The number of echelon-III officials who have passed registration phase is reaching 1,365 people. At this time, test schedule is still being made but he does not know how long the test will end. "We'll announce the schedule this noon and continued with test tomorrow," expressed Ismer.

To smoothen the test, as many as 50 professional assessors were recruited. One of them are from Gadjah Mada University (UGM). By so, official’s ability can be seen for adjusting the criteria of the position.

He admitted, the test phase is still quite long. He also targets the new members could be done by the end of December. "Hopefully, we can finish all before the end of December this year," he said.

Those are competing for 6,434 formations. They who have registered to enroll several phases such tests, soft competency, writing papers, discussion group, psychological test and interview. In the test, the assessor will evaluate them from two dimensions, namely evaluation and promotion.

As for the assessment is done by calculating three dimensions, comprising competence, track record, and composition. It also provides an opportunity for staff who have more ability to be promoted as official. But it must comply with requirement, that is at least has class 3b.
