Flag decoration has been done since early month to celebrate the coming Independence Day

Approaching the 75th Independence Day on August 17, the Cideng Urban Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta starts beautifying its environment by putting up red and white flag trinkets.

"Flag decoration has been done since early month to celebrate the coming Independence Day," expressed Cideng Urban Village Head, Agus Aripianto, Monday (8/10).

Central Jakarta to Hold Independence Day with Health Protocols

During the pandemic, his party kept intensifying oversight of the implementation of the Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) rules, which aimed to break the chain of spreading COVID-19 in his region.

"Due to the pandemic, we do not hold special events in order to avoid the crowds," he stated.
