Police Fine Over 106 Motorists for Violating Odd-Even System in Pademangan

In total, we have netted 106 drivers, with details 47 in the morning and the rest in the afternoon

It has been noted that some 10 police officers have ticketed 106 drivers for violating the odd-even traffic system rule on Jalan Gunung Sahari, Pademangan, North Jakarta since it began last Monday.

"In total, we have netted 106 drivers, with details 47 in the morning and the rest in the afternoon," expressed North Jakarta Traffic Unit Chief, AKBP Rachmat Sumekar, Tuesday (8/11).

24 Drivers Netted on First Day of Official Odd-even Policy

He expressed most violators were detected from Mangga Dua to Senen. According the rules, they were subject to ticket sanctions with a maximum fine of Rp 500,000.

"Hopefully residents obey the odd-even rules and understand which ways this policy applies," he hoped.
