PT. MRT Jakarta Holds Exciting Events and Promos to Enliven Indonesia's Independence Day

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) held various exciting events and promos through social media to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Indonesia Independence Day with theme #LadjoeIndonesiaku.

MRT Jakarta will optimize the entire series of Independence Day activities through social media

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) President Director, William Sabandar conveyed, the presence of MRT Jakarta has become a catalyst for cultural change in the society by using public transportation.

"By carrying the #LadjoeIndonesiaku theme which means fast and moving forward to work indefinitely, MRT Jakarta expects the Indonesia's Independence Day can contribute in the development of public transportation business and sustainable development," he mentioned, Monday (8/17).

People can enjoy various activities online through MRT Jakarta social media. The #LadjoeIndonesiaku program which takes place from August 14-23, 2020 not only presents exciting contents, but also promos and prizes during the activities.

There are various prizes that have been prepared involving local products and SMEs, such as Heiden Heritage, Shio Batik, Apikmen, Pasporterzzz, and many more.

"This year's celebration for commemorating Indonesia's Independence Day is quite different because of COVID-19 pandemic. Thus MRT Jakarta will optimize the entire series of Independence Day activities through social media. We have also prepared prizes through our collaboration with local products and MSMEs as our effort to support Indonesian people's creative businesses," he informed.

Today, MRT held #PesonaWastra event which involves Swara Gembira, a group of young people who have a vision of preserving Indonesian culture by taking public transportation while wearing traditional clothes such as batik and kebaya from Lebak Bulus Station to Dukuh Atas Station.

After that, MRT will hold casual talks about independence day through Ratangga Story program with various speakers that can be enjoyed by the public through Live Instagram Story @mrtjkt.

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) will also distribute special hats designed for Indonesia's Independence Day at several MRT Jakarta stations.

"MRT Jakarta users who get the hats can take a part in selfie competition held on MRT Jakarta social media. By maintaining COVID-19 prevention health protocols, we encourage all residents to celebrate Indonesia's Independence Day," he closed.
