Thousand Islands Satpol PP was instructed to further strengthen monitoring of health protocols at tourist sites and on settlement islands, in line with the large number of tourist visits on weekends.

According to him, another way to reduce and prevent the spread of COVID-19 besides socialization was by implementing fines for violators of health protocols, either residents or tourists.
"No more tolerance," he explained.
By doing so, it could give deterrent effect and make them more disciplined in implementing 3M rules (wearing masks, washing hands, keeping their distance).
"This is done to make our islands return to the green zone," he hoped.
