Joint Personnel Hold Transitional PSBB Operation at Monas

As many as 75 joint personnel held Transitional Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) operation by monitoring people's activities at Monas, Gambir Sub-district, on Saturday (8/21) night.

From our monitoring last night, we only reminded residents for not gathering in Monas because of high potential of COVID-19 transmission

Central Jakarta Satpol PP Civil Servant  Investigator Operation Section Head, Gatra Pratama Putra conveyed, his side deployed 30 Satpol PP personnel with assistance from Transportation Agency (Dishub), Gambir Sub-district, and TNI/Police.

In this operation, his personnel reminded people for not gathering because the potential of COVID-19 transmission in Jakarta is quite high.

"From our monitoring last night, we only reminded residents for not gathering in Monas because of high potential of COVID-19 transmission. The monitoring is focused at Monas," he explained, Saturday (8/22).

Gambir Sub-district Head, Fauzi mentioned, this monitoring was held at 20:00-03:00 and focused on reminding residents for not gathering and always implementing health protocols.

"We don't give sanctions. If we found people who gathered in a group, we immediately warned them to disperse," he closed.
