BI Jakarta Representative Office Head, Hamid Ponco Wibowo mentioned, from the result of survey conducted by his party, the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) were one of many sectors that had been heavily affected by COVID-19 pandemic. Such as delay or cancellation of orders or events, delay in exports and significant decrease in tourist visits.
"Thus, Bank Indonesia Jakarta Representative Office will hold Jakarta Creative and Arts Festival on September 11-13, 2020 where most of the activities will be held virtually. We use theme of Collaboration to Support Jakarta's Creative Economy," he stated through a virtual meeting on Wednesday (9/9).
IID 2020 is Expected to Increase Jakarta Investment ProjectsAccording to him, FKSJ also supports government's program in the National Movement of Proudly Made in Indonesia (Gernas BBI) for MSMEs and their products. This festival will be held at Ancol Art Market (Pasar Seni Ancol).
"The Jakarta Creative and Arts Festival will be held for three days to support National Movement of Proudly Made in Indonesia, accelerate digital economy and finance, and increase market access for MSMEs products and financing," he said.
Some of the activities are talk show, MSMEs showcase and fashion show, business matching, MSMEs curation, competitions, art and entertainment performances and implementation of QRIS to support the realization of MSMEs digitalization.
"It only allows cashless transaction and we are not targeting how many transactions made in this event," he conveyed.
