This policy is part of the celebration of two important milestones.

"This is part of the birthday gift for Jakarta people and a gift for independence," he explained.

Hopefully, this was expected to lighten the burden on the community and encourage taxpayers to meet their tax obligations.

Previously, the Jakarta Government held a taxpayer appreciation night 2025 at Great Hall, Jakarta City Hall on Tuesday night (6/17). Pramono expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the taxpayers.

Awards were given to compliant taxpayers from various groups as well as to Land and Building Tax (PBB) payers.

"Thank you very much for the extraordinary tax payment you have made," he explained.

He stated that Jakarta's tax revenue had reached 46.7 percent of the established target. The Jakarta Government was also committed to transparency in tax management in Jakarta.

He added that most of these tax funds were used to overcome Jakarta's main issue, which is the disparity or social gap in society.
