Starting September 14, Ancol Returns to Temporarily Close the Recreational Areas

The management of Taman Impian Jaya Ancol will temporarily close the coastal tourism area, Dunia Fantasi (Dufan), Sea World Ancol and Ocean Dream Samudra starting September 14, 2020. It is applied related to Jakarta Government's plan to re-impose the Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB).

PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Corporate Communications Department Head, Rika Lestari stated, her side appreciates and fully supports this policy.

"We will carry out this instruction in order to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission which recently has increased," he conveyed in written statement, on Thursday (9/10).

Emergency Brake Policy, Jakarta Government Reimposes Large-Scale Social Restrictions

The Taman Impian Jaya Ancol visitors who have purchased tickets online can still use it until Sunday (9/13).

"However, we can extend the ticket's validity until June 30, 2021 with a prior reservation system for visitors who haven't been able to use the ticket until that date," she explained.

He also mentioned that for visitors who have Annual Pass (Ancol, Dunia Fantasi, Sea world Ancol, and Ocean Dream Samudra), her side will freeze its active period and extend its period according to the number of days PSBB is implemented.
