LRT Jakarta Has Adjusted to Citywide Transport Restrictions Amid PSBB

PT LRT Jakarta is strongly supporting the Jakarta Governor who has resumed the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in the capital city today. Responding on this matter, they have prepared operational policies for the next two weeks.

We're going to continue to monitor developments and support all efforts made by the government to minimize the disease

LRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary Acting General Manager Bintang Kemal disclosed, during the PSBB, the LRT capacity will be limited to 30 people in each train car.

As for the operational hours, he stated, the train would start operating at 5 AM to 9 PM on September 14-16 with headway hitting 10 minutes on weekdays and weekends, at 5.30 AM to 8 PM on September 17-20 and at 5.30 to 7 PM on September 21 with headway hitting 20 minutes on weekdays and weekends.

"Certainly we do not forget to remain implement health protocols and standards service through LRTJ BISA (Clean, Innovative, Healthy and Safe) by ensuring high hygienic standards, providing hand sanitizers, maintaining distance and innovating contactless-based payment services in an effort to reduce the potential for spread through touch," he expressed, Monday (9/14).

He went on to say that his party continued to urge the public and LRT passengers to always maintain physical distancing in public areas in a bid to stop the spread of COVID-19 on public transportation modes in Jakarta.

"We're going to continue to monitor developments and support all efforts made by the government to minimize the disease. We also thank the public and loyal customers for continuing to choose us as a choice of safe, comfortable and on time public transportation," he closed.
