City Health Dept. Needs More Ambulance

Jakarta Health Department (Dinkes) still lack of emergency ambulance. At this moment, the department only has 37 units which distributed at 25 areas around capital city.

"Ideally, we have one ambulance for one sub-district. We need 19 units more," said Erizon Safari, Head of Emergency Ambulance Service for Jakarta Health Department, Monday (10/20).

Moreover, the department has no two-wheel ambulance. "We have proposed for two-wheel ambulance to ease the mobility against traffic," he added.

2 Puskesmas in West Jakarta to Be Type D Hospitals

According to him, city ambulance service is free of charge, especially for poor people. "Please show us the ID, family card, and domicile letter from RT/RW," he continued.
