Serving Healthier Food Training Provided for Monas PKL

Hundred of street vendors (PKL) stalls at IRTI Monas field, Central Jakarta were demolished by te Satpol PP personnel, Thursday (10/16). The vendors are temporarily prohibited to sell until new location, Lenggang Jakarta, is finish.

During this period, the vendors will get training from chef Ragil

Head of Central Jakarta Micro, Small, Medium Cooperatives and Trade Sub-department, Sri Indrastuti, said training in form of how to serve healthier food training will be given to vendors while waiting the new location is ready. The training is given to meet health standard.

Sri added, there will be 50 menu to be served for culinary. Based on data, 150 culinary traders have been listed, while the rests are souvenir traders.

2,000 PKL Have Auto Debit Cards

"During this period, the vendors will get training from chef Ragil. Even we have different vendors, but it is still the same taste. That is Lenggang Jakarta," said Sri, Thursday (10/16).

Later on, the vendors should pin the price list of the products. Moreover, the payment will not use cash.

"We cooperate with DKI and Mandiri Bank. Retribution and buying will use non cash. This is pilot project for managing street vendors in Jakarta," Sri added.
