The East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has finally completed the construction of two infiltration wells on Jalan DI Panjaitan, Jatinegara.
East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar said, the work was carried out since last week and continued with infiltration well trials.

"They (wells) are functioning properly. Hopefully they can minimize inundation and floods in the rainy season," he expressed, Tuesday (9/22).
He explained each well was able to hold approximately four cubic meters of water.
Even his sub-agency was going to multiply the same absorption wells in the area and in other areas by involving various parties.
"Talk about monitoring, we plan to involve the SDA Sub-agency and Bina Marga Sub-agency," he closed.
