East Jakarta Mayor Monitors Development of Three Reservoirs

East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar, conducted a work visit to monitor the progress of construction and dredging of three reservoirs in East Jakarta area today, Friday (9/25).

The work visit is done to know the progress of reservoir dredging and sheet pile construction to the reservoir

On that occasion, there were also seen a number of officials namely Economic and Development Assistant, Kusmanto; East Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Kusmanto; Cipayung Sub-district Head, Fajar Eko Satrio and so on.

"The work visit is done to know the progress of reservoir dredging and sheet pile construction to the reservoir," expressed East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar.

East Jakarta Mayor Checks Tiu Reservoir Condition

At that time, they were monitoring the progress of the river construction from Sunter River to Tiu Reservoir along approximately one hundred meters in the Tiu Reservoir in Setu, Cipayung.

His party also monitored another project in Pondok Ranggon Reservoir where they saw the reservoir dredging program and the elevation of the dam, including in Embung Wira Jasa Cipinang Melayu where the construction and its dredging kept being accelerated.

"Our hope those reservoirs can accommodate water in large quantities in order to minimize flooding when it rains," he hoped.
