South Jakarta Bina Marga Repairs 701 Channels' Retaining Walls

From January to August 2020, South Jakarta Bina Marga has repaired 701 channels' retaining walls and dismantled driveways located above channels.

Those are done to make people safer and more comfortable in using the facilities

South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head, Heru Suwondo mentioned, his side repaired 701 retaining walls located in 8 sub-districts. While no repair in other 2 sub-districts, namely Tebet and Kebayoran Lama Sub-districts.

"Our sub-district unit repair it together with team from Bina Marga Sub-agency," he added, Wednesday (9/30).

4,358 Potholes in South Jakarta Repaired

According to him, there were 19 points in Kebayoran Baru where his side repaired retaining walls and dismantled driveways, while 15 points in Pesanggrahan, 178 points in Pasar Minggu, 24 points in Cilandak, 83 points in Cilandak, 31 points in Mampang Prapatan, 225 points in Setiabudi, and 88 points in Jagakarsa.

At the same time, there were also concrete construction in 168 locations, bridge repair in 21 locations, sidewalk repair in 4,587 locations, as well as cleaning and painting roads, MCBs, and bridges in 340 locations.

"Those are done to make people safer and more comfortable in using the facilities," he conveyed.
