100 Joint Personnel Carry Out Grebek Lumpur Activity in Cilincing

As many as 100 joint personnel from Cilincing Sub-district, Gulkarmat Sub-agency, LH Sub-agency, SDA Sub-agency, and PPSU personnel from Semper Timur and Semper Barat carried out Grebek Lumpur activity on Jalan Akses Marunda and Jalan Raya Cakung Cilincing on Sunday (10/4).

Cilincing Sub-district Head, Muhammad Andri stated, this activity was focused on anticipating inundation that often occur on Jalan Akses Marunda and Jalan Raya Cakung Cilincing.

"We try to dredge mud from the channel and see its existing condition. Thus we can know whether it needs repair or not," he explained.

Seven Excavators Deployed to Dredge Mud at Baru Barat River

According to him, channel on Jalan Akses Marunda has length about 100 meters, width of 1 meter, and depth of 80 centimeters. Joint personnel dredge mud and garbage from the channel using excavator.

Meanwhile, sewer on Jalan Raya Cakung Cilincing is a crossing channel with width of 2 meters which connects KBN River, Progo and Gubug Genteng River to Sepatan River. This sewer was cleaned to make water flow smoothly.

"Thus we can anticipate inundation on Jalan Raya Cakung Cilincing around KBN and several RWs in Semper Barat and Sukapura," he conveyed.
