Some 20 PPSU personnel under Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta have been sent to dredge up drains in residential areas during the rainy season.
Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village Head Abdul Buang said those personnel were divided into two teams. They targeted to drains that were filled by mud and prone to flood.
Micro Channels in Srengseng Cleaned Routinely"All drains are under our monitoring," he expressed, Monday (10/5).
He expressed its dredging had been ongoing since last Sunday. Until today, they had managed to reach 500 meters of drains.
"Every day we send them to do sweeping in each RW," he stated.
